WOD: Tuesday 10-27-2009

“The Quigley”

Every Marine Officer knows The Quigley, miles of  twisting trails and obstacles where candidates move on their bellies through water filled trenches or run with pounds of mud soaked gear while receiving positive and gentle reinforcement from the Sergeant Instructors.  This  is probably gonna feel a little like that.

for time:

Thrusters 10, 9, 8, 7, ……. 1  (m:95lb, f:65lb)

alternating sets with

Sumo Deadlift High Pull 1,2, 3, 4, ……. 10 (same weight)

    I started with a barbell with 25lbs on it and made it 4 sets with the thrusters. Matt allowed me to substitute squats in the place of thrusters. It was a little easier (ha) with the sumo dead lift high pull. I finished with the time of 16:40. Can only go up from here.

    Up is where we are headed indeed. Michelle and Christina did a great job tearing this WOD apart in the 0500 class.
