We have been going hard and heavy, but every attack reaches a point where there will be a final push before the pace or tactics must change.  Today was the final push for the latest assault.  Keep marching forward Silverbacks.

Jim has cracked the code on "explosive"

"Rest" can return intensity to your effort or mentally crack you like an egg.

 

Zach went heavy and for full range of motion, no one can push you beyond where you are willing to go. Great Job Silverback!

 

Lucky for all of us Drew was able to hold the wall up until Gary completed all his reps.

    Wow this was hard and I was slow! Went a bit heavy and was doing full cleans. Of course it didn’t help that I tried to smash my throat with 125lbs 4 times.

    10 Girl-rillas!! All of which turned in a food journal for week 1!!!!!!! Way to go girls!!

    Special shout out to Cassie for going heavy, Karen for pushing through and Linda & Lynn for leading the pack!

    I did 65lb this morning with a time of 10:07………probably could have gone a little heavier, but it was still tough.

    Thanks for all the support and encouragement today…especially Casey! I needed it. At times, I didn’t think I was going to finish. It was really hard…just one of those days! Next time will be better. Thanks Girl-rillas! You ladies did awesome!!! 🙂

    Forgot to record my time but it was uuuggggly. 115 felt very heavy this morning. Today was a good example of allowing negative thinking to have a material impact on performance. Oh well. Chalk it up to experience and move on.

    Shout out to Zach for going heavy in the WOD and doing full cleans whole way through. Premium effort, as Matt said.

    Need to learn a lesson, dig deep, go heavy and kick it in the….. after a day of fighting with a crashing computer and a large job proposal due at end of day, I think I’m ticked off enough to do it. Now, if I could muster the anger and adrenaline flowing through my veins today, every morning, then I know I’d be setting PRs everyday and maybe beating Casey’s time in the WOD.
