WOD: 08-12-2010 – CrossFit Silverback


WOD: 08-12-2010

Same as yesterday: No don’t repeat the workout from yesterday if you did it, take the day off.  It is our goal to have you work out as intensly as possible when here, rest when you are not and eat well all of the time.  By repeating the workout we expect our athletes to take Wed or Thurs off.

Call Animal Planet, we have a flying Bear.

Success comes before work only in the dictionary.

A good shot of sun in the eyes just adds insult to injury.

Corrie begins to feel the effects of the magnets we installed in the floor.

    I was curious – do I win a prize for finding the Crossfit Silverback ad in the box of the PowerCrunch bars at HEB? Great thinking!!!! I actually had to move the card to get the bars out of the box! Don’t worry, I did replace it!

    Yes, I mastered my first kipping pull-up today! It feels GREAT! Thanks Casey, for taking the time to hold the clinic this morning and working with me!

    I don’t know about y’all, but I’m enjoying the kool-aid!!!!!

    Wishing I was independently wealthy or did not have managerial responsibilities. I miss working out at SB. I am living in Alice trying to find a replacement for the individual who is quitting and a 2nd person that is needed due to the growth in business. Alice appears to be a semi-permanent address until I can right this ship. No complaining; just missing the daily visit to the “The Box”.

    Good workout but it about did me in – by Rnd7 I was SERIOUSLY questioning my choice of weights!

    This is officially the closest I have come to losing it in a WOD. I was all over Chris today for resting and then I found myself in the same boat. I usually refuse to rest during a WOD, today my body would not take no for an answer. If it weren’t for Matt on my heels, who knows when I would have finished.

    Ethan and Mac, I enjoy working out with you guys. Not sure 6:30 is my forte but I’m giving it a go just to change things up a bit.
