Monday Update and Correction

Hey Silverbacks,

FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT: TODAY’S WOD IS ONE ROUND!  ONE!

Great to be back in town, the Underground Strength Coach certification was a blast.  Zach Even-esh’s techniques and tactics for long term power and strength development was exactly the tool I have been looking to add to our program.  Our training must constantly evolve and grow to provide you with the best possible experience and results.  It’s gotta be fun and it’s gotta work, and those two things are far more related than you might think.  Keep your eyes open for the changes, BIG and small.

Big Weekend coming up.  CrossFit Houston is throwing a ladies only challenge.  Val has taken up the challenge for this Saturday the 7th, you wanna support, go to Houston’s site link on the left hand side of our page.

Also on May 7 we have a group of warriors sworn to tackle the Metrodash that evening at around 5:30pm.  This is 600m of obstacles and exercises designed to test the whole athlete.  TBD if the GIC will run as an individual.  But there is more, as many of you know Zach took a position on the Metrodash travel team and is coming home to Houston with them in tow.  Zach has sent out word that they need volunteers.   Keeping overhead down for the dash benefits a military Special Operations Charity.  If you can let Zach know at z.Stewart24@yahoo.com.

This Saturday AT THE BOX Regular Workout at 9:00am.   The Reebok CrossFit Games Open is OVER at our level.  So Saturday workouts are going to go back to a more normal routine for a while, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz NOT.  We have a whole new group of workouts for teams, partners and individuals.  We don’t like routine in the Silverback Nation.  Be Fast, Stay Strong and Stay Tuned.
