SILVERBACK BUFFET FRIDAY!

That’s right, you get to mix and match.  Pick any of the WOD’s from Mon – Thurs.  Feel like a rematch or maybe make up one you missed and don’t forget the deadlifts.  C’mon life doesn’t give you many second chances.

JUST IN CASE YOUR AN OVERACHIEVING APE, HERE’S A SNEAK PEAK AT THE BONUS WOD!

For max rounds
On the minute perform the following complex
1x double KB swing + 1x double KB Clean + 1x double KB snatch (2 x 35#)
Add 1 rep to each movement every minute thereafter.
Continue until you cannot make the requisite number of reps during a given minute.
Your score is the number complete rounds.

  2. Veteran’s Day Endurance WOD:

    6 x 800m with 3 min rest between: all in 3:15 – 3:20

    10 min walking rest

    10 rep Heavy DB Burpees with 15’s, 20’s, 25’s, 30’s, 35’s, 30’s, 25’s, 20’s, 15’s
    (90 sec rest between)

    My legs are officially done.

    1. BTW, first run in my new running shoes from our local Fleet Feet shop (corner of Louetta and Champions). These folks (Fellow Silverback Danny) let me try on about 400 different pairs of shoes, run in them on their treadmill and listen to me decipher all my myriad of running needs, stories, etc. Not once did they pressure me into a pair of shoes. In fact, they moved me away from a couple of pair that I thought I liked but really didn’t fit my needs. If any of you out there are in to the running/triathlon thing, then this is your place for shoes and shoe advice. Great place and great people.
