Man this wanted to put me under this AM! Even the warm up was rough. I got my first dose of saying “oh, that’s it, one round!”

Great to have company! Great job Lance! Very impressive. Hope to see you tomorrow.

I made the mistake of making up the Bear Claw in my garage yesterday. It was slow yesterday and I definetly felt it today. Let’s just say that the Bear was still clawing at me this a.m. What is the Mellancamp verse? … “It hurts so good” something like that?

    2:35 on the Gauntlet

    ?, 21, 27 (all numbers suspect bc I wasn’t thinking too clearly!)

Nice working w you Drew and Lance.

Ok, not really with it today. I thought my first injury would be at CFSB, but I get taken out at a chess tournament. Now I have 2 scrapped up knees, so let’s do front squats and push ups. Didn’t work out so well with the one kee push ups and realized after the WOD, that I did 3X3’s on the strength instead of 3 X 5’s. Still learning the lingo and should not be left unsupervised. I even forgot my water bottle at home. My brain was thrown off by being there on a Monday morning instead of afternoon. Hope tomorrow brain decides to join me. Everyone else looked great. 🙂

Well, I would have been perfectly satisfied to go home after the “warm up”………that was more than enough for me! But no, then came Deadlifts AND the WOD. Wow! This is a great way to start the week. I did 65lb fs and burpees were 33, 29, 27 or something like that.

Linda, no harm in doing sets of three, your form was great and you looked so strong!

Lynn, I can see the spark 🙂 You have found your inner Crossfit spirit! Your deadlifts were so strong this morning. Great job.

    Zach, uhmmm, never mind.

    Brad, Missed you.

Appears I may be out of commission for a while. Am going to go to the 530p tonight and see what Matt can program for me until I’m 100%. Didn’t want to bog down the 0500 group.

I had a ungraceful dismount from the rings Saturday (ok, full disclosure, I fell). Sprained the right ankle.

Well you do what you can. My 16 yo and I should be joining you tonight at 630p. She is preparing for cheer tryouts and wants to improve strength. She needs a dose of what Matt prescribes so I’m going to see if I can get her to the evening sessions on a regular basis (she has completely ruled out 0500).

BTW – impressive numbers on the deadlift . Very strong.

Good to see rowing back in the regemin, nothing ‘warms-ya-up’ like a good 500m row!
    Did 275-290-300(x3) on the 3×5 D.L.s
    Did 27-23-23 Burpees w/a 110# bar for F.S.’s

    Good workout!

did 65# on the front squat for WOD
    deadlift did 120# x 5 , 150# x 5, 180# x5 but not all together and with bad form….took lil breaks between reps… 🙂
