I couldn’t make it to the local Tea Party event last night so I had to find another way to vent.  So join me in resolute and justified anger and exhaust yourself  with:

Three rounds time separately

Push Press x 10

Run 400m

Rest 2 min

After the 3rd round rest  a total of 5 min.

Then 3 rounds each for individual time of

Back Squats x 10

Row 500m

Rest 2 min

Inspired by MFT at GymJones

Stage 1: Orient yourself to the battlefield.

The first shots are fired! (Zach gets to stand around he is competing tomorrow)

Drew "digg'n deep" on round 5 of 6.

Everyone emptied the tank on this one, I just happen to have a picture of Drew with the guage on "E".

What a workout…….I did a lot of fussing this morning……….sorry guys. I really had a good run on the first round but had little in the tank after that. I did 65lb PP and it was too light. To the best of my knowledge my numbers were 2:01, 2:17, 2:27
    Round 2: 105lb BS 2:58, 3:10, 2:56
Jim and Drew, Thanks for the humble pie, I would have preferred chocolate.

This is a shout out to the ladies of 9:30………UNBELIEVEABLE effort today………..I’m still on a high from just watching you guys do this workout………EVERY single athlete had a negative split on round 6. I’m so proud of you girls!!

great name but we need something better than the gas tank went to E. I’m thinking some kind of monetary connotation? At any rate this workout left me “bankrupt” … get it? Ok I’m not a comedian but I try.

    Weights were: PP = 100, Squat = 160

    Times: 1:38, 1:39, 1:46(?), 2:34, 2:47, 2:43

Brain/Body fatigue… in recession. I crack myself up!

Did I mention I hate tax day?

Casey, thanks for the rowing technique “clinic” the other day. My times are a little slower but my ability to walk and talk after 500m is much better. I was consistent with 25 – 30 spm on each interval of 500.

Wow, that was a TAXing workout.
My ‘burdens’ were 95#PP and 185#BS.
My net returns on the PP/run were: 1:53, 1:51, and 1:51
My GROSS EXPENDITURES on the BS/row were 3:06, 3:03, and 3:03
I was metabolically depressed when I collapsed off of the rower.

The PP/run were energy-well-spent. But I’m afraid it was Chapter13 on the BS/row.

I hope this routine doesn’t get audited anytime soon.
