    ๐Ÿ™ I don’t think I’ll get booked for work tonight so I am planning on being there at 630p. Sorry to everyone I told I would be there at 5am today….I did try….didn’t hear alarm until 445am which is 5 min after I need to be driving there in order to make it by 5am. :/ please forgive me ๐Ÿ™‚

    Felt as if I was tossed into the machine. Went a little heavy for the WOD – 95lbs and “finished” at 13:!9. Drew / Gary, thanks for the yelling and encouragement during the WOD. Linda, a real thanks for helping me get thru the final four sets.

    Finally worked shoulders today after taking it easy on them for a few weeks, need to slowly work my way back into it. Nowhere near max, just a nice stroll down the beach. Substituted DL for push press on WOD. 7:43 or so. Tired after a 6:30 evening class yesterday. Saw a few PR’s on the push press, nice work.

    Great job this morning everyone! Jumped to fast on push press and missed the last rep on set 2 and 3. Got to learn not every day is a PR day. Although did my previous 1RM for two reps.

    WOD 8:58 with 95lbs.

    In the words of a “Laugh In” character “Veeerrry Innntersting”, this describes my morning. Had a great team for the warm up(Stephanie and Shannon aka Nina’s daughters). Did the “happy PR” dance with a push press of 90#. Did 45# for WOD and time was 9:21. Since Matt took my line I guess all I can say is WOO HOO!

    ssshhhhhhh….the MRS. says she is coming tonight with me and the boy at 1830. I’m really pumped for her. I will need to not go overboard on the encouragement.

    Did main site hero WOD at office this morning (52:00) mit towel pullups. Also added in 10 yd 185# dummy drag from station to station. Probably not conducive to a PR tonight but one heck of a workout. Gonna have to open a big ole can of “Suck it up” tonight.

      Dick – my buddy at LAPD knew and worked with RJ. I will pass along to him that you did that wod in honor of him (and added extra work). Nice job. When I have access to a rope, I will do that wod as well.

        You can use towel pullups in place of rope climb. I used towel pu’s x 25 for 5 ascents. Not sure if that equates but it was tough.

    Doesn’t feel like I’ve improved much on PP in a while. Need work on technique. 155×3, 165×1

    Finished WOD in 9:06m (75 lbs) – I think. Lost count on reps.

    Uber kudos to my wife Susan on her first day! She was awesome. Garret it was great to meet you (you are a strong dude) and I hope to see you back again in the future. Randy it was great to work out with you again. Nice size group at 1830.

    PP 3×3 155, 175 (fail), 165 same as the last time I did it (still need to work on form at the finish/ poor shoulder flexibility).

    WOD: 9:46 (it think) with 95# Took forever to get to 5’s!

    All in all a good day. I will say that 95# got in my head a great deal. I was intimidated.

    Nice to meet Susan D – welcome to the community. But to add another member of the D family to the box is just not fair. I’m sick of getting smoked! (although I better get used to it)

    PR PR PR!!! Back in Feb I did 120# push press once….since then I haven’t been able to get past 115# to save my life…..WELLLLL today I did 105×3, 115×3 and THEN 125×1 ๐Ÿ™‚ super excited about that!

    My time was 11:41

    all in all it was a good day ๐Ÿ™‚

    Susan you did amazing! super happy that you came and I hope you come back! We need all the girl-rillas we can get ๐Ÿ˜‰
