    Julie (Talkington) I wish your “boulders” were in working condition so you could do this WOD.

    My boulders are crushed for the day.

    ok, Matt may get mad at me for posting this (and if he does, well he’s the moderator and can always delete this)

    After the 1775 wod and recent re-match with the Filthy Fifty, I realize just how slow I am at burpees. They are a weakness I need to work on. So, as many of you know, there is the 100 Day Burpee Challenge. 1 burpee on day 1, 2 on day 2…. Total of 5050 burpees. Any burpees you do at CFSB count towards your daily requirements (somedays may exceed the necessary numbers). If you miss a day, then on the following day you have to do those as well. I am starting Saturday, which would enable me to finish on February 20. It will help me keep off my holiday pounds, make me faster, and might even be able to hang with Casey when I’m done.

      I totally agree with Casey!

      If you want to run 400m faster you don’t train for a marathon . . . you do lots of intervals!

    Brad, As a former participant in the burpee challenge I would not recommend it to anyone. I dropped out around day 64. It’s needless wear and tear on your shoulders and I don’t believe you or anyone will be any better at burpees by the end. If you want to get better at them do 10 a day every day for 30 days as fast as possible and keep trying to beat your time. That’s off the top of my head, I’m sure there are better ways to improve but I for one do not believe the burpee challenge is the right choice.

      Agree. Speed and intensity over volume. Now if you want to be able to do 30 fast you may need to up the volume through repeated sets of fast and explosive burpees.
