
How did you get into CrossFit? In 2012, Lululemon was doing free CrossFit classes for their community workouts one month and I did those. As a former gymnast and group exercise junky at the gym I fell in love with the mix of heavy weights and gymnastics movements. I visited a few different CrossFit boxes with friends over the next couple months and ended up joining Silverback.
Favorite movement or WOD? Anything with a heavy barbell. I love bench press and the workout DT (deadlift-hang clean-shoulder to overhead).
Why have you stuck around so long? I love that everything is laid out for me each day and that it’s always changing. Some days I love it and others I hate it but I always come back for more.
Fun fact people don’t know about you? I was a cheerleader all through junior high and high school.
What are you most excited about as a coach at CFSB? I’m looking forward to meeting more of the members that I don’t normally see and being able to help people progress in their CrossFit journey. Maybe one day I can help someone hit a new pr or get a new skill.
